American Idol has discovered numerous stars, including Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson and Oklahoma’s own Carrie Underwood. This season, Kingfisher native Emily Faith will compete for the coveted title of the next American Idol.
Faith is no stranger to the big stage, having performed the national anthem at Oklahoma City Thunder games and opening for the Newsboys. The reigning Miss Tulsa made her American Idol debut March 13 and is headed to Hollywood.
Faith says she’s always wanted to audition for the show. To watch her and the rest of the contestants, tune in to ABC on Sundays at 7 p.m.
