Armstrong Auditorium will host the Armstrong Chamber Choir and professional orchestra in a presentation of G.F. Handel’s oratorio Israel in Egypt on Wednesday, March 16, at 7:30 p.m.
Mostly known for his oratorio Messiah, G.F. Handel’s Israel in Egypt is the composer’s most imaginative work.
The 33-member Armstrong Chamber Choir is the resident vocal ensemble of the Armstrong campus – comprised of staff, students and alum. It teams up with a specially hand-picked 23-piece orchestra of expert musicians to offer Handel’s treasured masterpiece.
