The 80-year-old historic Santa Fe Station in Oklahoma City has recently been restored to its former luxuriousness.
Restoration of Santa Fe Station was focused on preserving some historic elements that invoke the memory of its storied past, while at the same time moving the facility forward.
It is the northernmost station on Amtrak’s Heartland Flyer route and will become Oklahoma City’s intermodal transit hub. It will be served by the Oklahoma City Streetcar, EMBARK buses and a Spokies bike sharing station.
Other features include charging stations for electric vehicles, a redesigned parking lot and an art deco interior.
