Rose State dedicates new student union in honor of president

by The 100 Companies

Jeanie Webb, Rose State College‘s first woman president, has overseen the investment of $36 million in construction and upgrades at the community college. She has also overseen a $900,000 EDA grant and a $1.3 million donation from Dick and Glenna Tanenbaum for the Tanenbaum Aerospace and Cybersecurity Center.

One of those projects was the new student center, which was recently officially dedicated in her honor as the Jeanie Webb Student Union.

The state-of-the-art center has won several architectural awards and houses a coffee shop, food court, book store, meeting spaces for students and offices for enrollment management and student services.
