Tabea Debus will light up the Armstrong Auditorium stage with her prodigious mastery of the recorder accompanied by lutist Kevin Payne on Thursday, March 31, at 7:30 p.m.
A soloist and chamber musician who makes regular appearances with La Serenissima and The English Concert, Debus’ critically acclaimed program, Ohrwurm, is a delightful compilation of toe-tapping tunes (“ear worms”) from mainly the 17th and 18th centuries. Supported and partnered by American lutist Payne, the pairing makes for an engaging performance.
