There’s one historical event that keeps the Oklahoma City community coming back together in solitude, remembrance and honor, and this year marks 25 years since that fateful day.
On April 19, 1995, a bomb went off in front of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building, killing 168 victims, including 19 children. Since then, the Oklahoma City National Memorial Museum has taken over the building as an honorable tribute to those who lost their lives.
Oklahoma welcomes thousands of individuals each year for the OKC Memorial Marathon, which takes place every April. It’s postponed to October this year due to COVID-19.
