Contestants are already stretching their short legs in anticipation for the most important event of Linde Oktoberfest Tulsa.
The Dachshund Dash Race and Costume Parade will feature Oklahoma’s fastest wiener dogs displaying their need for speed in a 100-foot race at the Karbach Brewing Games Arena on Sunday, Oct. 20 at 1 p.m. Appropriately, race contestants will be wearing numbered hot dog bun costumes during their individual heats.
The event will also feature a costume parade contest, so even if your favorite dachshund is not the fastest pup, he or she still has a chance to be a big winner.
