In March, Amazon hired more than 2,500 temporary full- and part-time roles in Oklahoma in order to meet the surge in demand of Amazon’s services and keep as many people working as possible amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Amazon recently announced the company will provide the opportunity for 1,700 of those roles to transition into permanent, full-time employment beginning in June. Some may choose to return to their previous jobs, stay in their part-time roles or take the full-time roles and grow with the company.
Roles fulfilled include picking, packing, shipping and delivering packages. Learn more about these new hire stories.
