Get Your Kicks on Route 66

by

When I used to have a job that required me to drive throughout northeastern Oklahoma, I always enjoyed driving historic Route 66. It was less stressful, and I was able to enjoy the beauty of our state.

Spring is around the corner so get out and experience Route 66. From Tulsa you can drive to Miami and back in about three hours – but you’re going to want to make some stops.

Don’t miss pie at the Hammett House, chicken fried steak at Clanton’s Cafe or the Coleman Theatre. And when you stop in Miami, make sure to pronounce it correctly.
