Just in time for the holiday season, the Will Rogers World Airport opened its brand new $87 million expansion to the public on Sept. 15. The 133,000-square-foot embellishment includes new concessions, amenities and retail stores.
This expansion will provide travelers with more nonstop flights, better services and a better overall experience. Local artist, Matt Goad, had the honor of incorporating his whimsical, geometric art into the new terminal’s ambiance.
“It was important to me to show the city as a beautiful, modern city in this first impression and that’s what we are and that’s what I hope I accomplished,” Goad said.
