World Mental Health Day celebrations at Oklahoma state parks

by The 100 Companies

The Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) is joining forces with the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department (OTRD) for World Mental Health Day in the Parks on Saturday, Oct. 14.

Starting with an enlightening hike at 8 a.m., visitors can later partake in craft activities as well as gather mental health resources from ODMHSAS and the 988 team. Free parking is available all day at both parks.

“Seeking help when needed is perfectly human,” comments the commissioner of ODMHSAS. For those unable to visit, a custom Spotify playlist is available to bring Oklahoma’s tranquility to them.
