First Americans Museum

The First Americans Museum opens Sept. 18, and there’s a lot in store for those who visit. From interactive media in the Tribal Nations Gallery, where visitors can experience stories from the 39 Tribal Nations in Oklahoma; to Origins Theater, where creation stories are projected on a 320-degree screen; visitors will discover something new on every turn.

Located in the Mezzanine Gallery, WINIKO: Life of an Object, Selections from the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian returns objects from the 39 tribes to Oklahoma for the first time in 100 years.
