Oklahoma City native selected as a demonstration pilot for Blue Angels

The Blue Angels, the U.S. Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron, has selected seven new officers to join the team for the season in 2024.

Lt. Cmdr. Jack Keilty from Oklahoma City was selected as an F/A-18E/F Super Hornet pilot. He is currently assigned to Strike Fighter Squadron 211 (VFA-211).

A total of 17 officers serve in the Blue Angels and new members are selected after an interview with the present members of their squadron in their specialty. The rookies train from November to March at El Centro Air Base in California. The Blue Angels’ show season runs from March to November.
