On the first Friday of each month, more than 20 galleries in the Paseo Arts District in Oklahoma City stay open late for the public to browse locally made art and merchandise. Regardless of weather, visitors can expect shops to be open from 6-9 p.m. on First Fridays, all of which are within walking distance along the picturesque drive that’s lined with colorful, Spanish-style architecture.
Galleries include Little D Gallery, featuring art by Denise Duong and The Paseo Plunge.
Those who work up an appetite can dine at some of the city’s best restaurants, including FRIDA Southwest and Picasso Cafe.
