Metro Tech’s Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program, inaugurated in 2022, provides a pathway for aspiring healthcare professionals. The 16-week program is tailored to equip students with the essential skills needed to obtain their EMT license.
An exciting addition to the curriculum is the state-of-the-art Classroom Ambulance Simulator, crafted by Simulator Solutions. Kara Owens, program instructor and EMT, stated “This is one of the most realistic training opportunities they can get outside of being hands-on in the field,” as reported on metrotech.edu.
The simulator enhances the learning experience, offering a lifelike environment for students to hone their emergency response capabilities.
