With a focus on training in high-demand industries, Rose State and Tulsa Community College received designation as Oklahoma’s first Aerospace and Cybersecurity Center of Workforce Excellence.
“The center will be a resource for anything aerospace and cybersecurity-related to moving industries forward in Oklahoma,” Rose State President Dr. Jeanie Webb said.
This designation represents higher education, career tech, industry partners and communities working together to answer workforce needs with educational pathways, stackable credentials, collaborations and training.
While both cities serve as aerospace hubs with Tinker Air Force Base and American Airlines, the Centers will assist employers and training needs for students.
