Guernsey breaks ground on new animal shelter

by The 100 Companies

Guernsey and the city of Newcastle broke ground on a new animal shelter May 8. The shelter is designed to accommodate 27 dogs and 12 cats, offering them a safe and loving home while they wait to find their forever families.

As Newcastle continues to grow, Guernsey’s strategic construction methods will help the city build a prosperous and welcoming environment for the community, its residents and furry friends.

To celebrate the groundbreaking and to show support during the widespread outbreak of the canine flu, Guernsey provided a donation of pill pockets for medications, toys and bedding to the Newcastle Animal Shelter.
