Renovations for Green Pastures Elementary creating premier studio in Oklahoma.
Manhattan Construction is currently renovating the Green Pastures Studio in east Oklahoma City to create an industry-standard sound stage. Formerly Green Pastures Elementary, the school closed in late 2019.
Green Pastures Studios bought the school in June 2020 with plans to convert it into a film production facility in 2022. With Hollywood in mind, the Manhattan team replicated the MGM/Sony Pictures 1920’s-era elephant doors designed to control sound and provide access for stage equipment and large set deliveries.
The studio selected Manhattan based on qualifications and relationships, and the project further expands their experience in the film and TV industry.
