This weekend, save some money and help a locally owned business. National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) State Director Jerrod Shouse encourages Oklahomans to shop small during Tax-Free Weekend, happening Aug. 2-4: “As families consider purchasing new clothes for the upcoming school year, we hope that they’ll take advantage of the tax-free weekend and shop small. Shopping small keeps more hard-earned dollars within the community.”
Items that qualify for the Tax-Free Weekend include any article of clothing or footwear that is designed to be worn on or about the body with a sales price under $100. To learn more, click here.
