When the Oscar nominations were announced and the Grammys were awarded, Oklahoma was a part of history.
The Oklahoma-made movie Minari, filmed in Tulsa, has been nominated for six Academy Awards. It stars the history-making actor Steven Yeun, who just became the first Asian-American ever nominated for a Best Actor Oscar. And we’re not done yet!
Vince Gill, a Country Music Hall of Famer and Oklahoma native, recently won his 22nd Grammy Award. Previously, Gill was the male country artist with the most Grammy wins (21), but he has now added to that incredible record.
