by The 100 Companies

The Tulsa Symphony celebrates Tulsa’s veterans and first responders at the “Honor, Americana” concert on Veterans Day (Nov. 11) at 7:30 p.m. at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center, which will be illuminated in red, white and blue.

This special event will feature pieces by American composers, including the U.S. Armed Forces salute (arranged by Bob Lowden) and Aaron Copland’s “Lincoln Portrait,” all under the baton of Grammy-nominated conductor Ward Stare.

The evening’s festivities include a pre-concert lobby performance by the Tulsa Metro Sound and a conductor’s talk about the program in the Westby Pavilion starting at 6:30 p.m.
