The University of Oklahoma Women’s Gymnastics team are national champions. On Saturday, April 15, the Sooners secured their sixth national title in only nine years.
“What these women did today was absolutely incredible,” said OU head coach K.J. Kindler after the team won the title inside the Dickies Arena.
The team had a strong season, which included a Big 12 Conference championship as well as their 13th consecutive NCAA regional crown.
“From March 1 to now, our gymnasts have been relentless on floor,” said Kindler.
Their hard work and dedication are clear. Well done, Sooners, here’s to next season.
