Today we remember Americans who gave their all for our country at Pearl Harbor and honor the service of 558,000 WWII veterans who are still with us.
Last month, the Oklahoma History Center opened an exhibit about another war where 2.7 million Americans served in Vietnam. Welcome Home: Oklahomans and the War in Vietnam tells the story through the lives of Oklahomans who served in the armed forces in Vietnam, or came here as refugees seeking freedom.
The exhibit includes a Huey helicopter and a memorial wall with dog tags from Oklahomans who lost their lives in Vietnam.
