The 2016 US Olympic Trials recently came to an end, resulting in huge wins for four OU Sooners.
USA Gymnastics recently announced Mark Williams, current OU men’s gymnastics head coach, was selected as the 2016 US Olympic Men’s Gymnastics head coach. Mark Williams has served as head coach for OU men’s gymnastics team for 17 years and has led the team to their 10th national title and second consecutive perfect season.
In addition, Chris Brooks, Jake Dalton and Alex Naddour, all former OU gymnasts, qualified to be three of the five final members to represent team USA in men’s gymnastics.
