Oklahoma covid-19 vaccine

The COVID-19 vaccine has arrived in Oklahoma, and the Oklahoma State Department of Health has released its plan to roll out the vaccine program to Oklahomans in phases.

Oklahoma began receiving the first doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine on Monday, Dec. 14. The initial doses are being given to healthcare workers on the frontline.

The state has not made a prediction on when the vaccine will be widely available, but some experts have predicted it may be spring before the general population has access to the vaccine.

Visit the Oklahoma State Department of Health webpage for more vaccine information.
