Walking through a local bookstore, I was surprised to find this recently published book by Oklahoma native Frank Sisson. Now 95 years old, Sisson is sharing his remarkable story as part of General George S. Patton’s famed Third Army that participated in the Battle of the Bulge and liberation of Dachau.

In “I Marched With Patton: A Firsthand Account of World War II Alongside One of the U.S. Army’s Greatest Generals,” Sisson notes that Patton was a brilliant military tactician who deeply cared for the men who served under him.  Thank you, Frank Sisson, for sharing your American story!

This is my Grandfather and he has been perfecting this book for as long as I can remember. He was the inspiration for me to go serve our country in the U.S. as a paratrooper!
