The FireLake Fireflight Balloon Fest offers Oklahomans a world-class festival August 4-6. The festival’s schedule is packed with concerts, BMX shows, family-friendly entertainment and of course, hot air balloons.
But what some festivalgoers may not know is that one pilot whose basket they may fly in holds 15 world records. Bill Bussey has been a balloon pilot for 40 years. Founder of the Great Texas Balloon Race, Bussey’s expertise has carried him across the nation.
