Since 1904, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oklahoma has greatly impacted the lives of countless children. One powerful example is Bo, who was referred to BBBSOK in 2008. This shy, 9-year-old girl had low confidence and difficulty in school before meeting her “big sister” Marilyn.
Bo and Marilyn instantly bonded, and Bo’s teachers, family, and friends immediately noticed changes in her. Through the years, Marilyn mentored Bo and today Bo successfully graduated high school and has also received numerous prestigious scholarships.
