Believe it or not, that rusty bike in your garage could be someone’s shiny new beginning. Chain Reaction Ministries, an outreach program of Restoration Church at the Dome, restores old used bicycles and donates them to members of the homeless community.
“Being able to give a bicycle to someone and help them gain or keep employment is a way to help build their lives up,” said Reverend John Malget, senior pastor.
Since 2013, the group has donated more than 1,200 bikes to homeless individuals, many of whom are veterans. For more information or to donate a bike, click here.
