Guernsey and Copeland Design transform downtown parking spot to luxury lounge

by The 100 Companies

Last week, Guernsey planners collaborated with Copeland Design Collective landscape architects to convert a downtown Oklahoma City parking space into a unique and interactive experience for those in the area to celebrate National Park(ing) Day.

Park(ing) Day is a global, participatory art project where people across the world temporarily repurpose street parking spaces into tiny parks and places for art, play and activism. Park(ing) Day offers an opportunity to engage in the ongoing dialog around how our cities are designed and built.

Both companies are currently collaborating on the MAPS4 Beautification project, launched last month to further beautify the city.
