March is Women’s History Month and Monday, March 8, is also International Women’s Day. Women’s History Month is a celebration of women’s contributions to history, culture and society and Oklahoma has no shortage of female role models, unsung heroes, pioneers and advocates who embody the spirit of our great state.
Since 1982, 101 Oklahoma women have been inducted into the Oklahoma Women’s Hall of Fame for their contributions to our state. Check out the full list here. The most recent inductees were in 2018.
In March (and year-round), do your part to celebrate women and women’s history in Oklahoma!
