The Seminole Nation Museum in Wewoka, one of the most historically-significant and culturally-diverse communities in Oklahoma, documents and interprets the history and culture of the Seminole Nation of Oklahoma.

From pre-statehood to the Civil Rights movement, the Museum also explores Oklahoma’s African American history while exploring landmarks, historic towns and a collection of documents relating to Black Seminoles.

The Museum also offers in-house educational programs to both adults and students covering various topics from art education to how to sew patchwork.

Admission is free and the Museum is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
