First Americans Museum celebrates first anniversary

by The 100 Companies

September marks one full year since First Americans Museum (FAM) opened to the public. Under its roof, visitors can experience the collective histories of 39 distinctive First American Nations in Oklahoma today. In addition to the galleries, visitors can shop at FAMstore and dine at Thirty Nine Restaurant.

To celebrate its anniversary, FAM is hosting the Tribal Nations Gallery After Party on Friday, Sept. 16. Tickets are $49 and can be purchased online. Attendees must be at least age 21.

The after-party will interpret the gala theme of “Indigenous Brilliance” through contemporary audio and visual experiences to honor the First American heritage.
