Netflix and Disney Plus streaming services are becoming the top fashion for video content. Netflix holds the throne with 4,000 movies and 47,000 TV shows, although Disney Plus is close behind.
Disney Plus includes major franchises like Marvel and Star Wars that resulted in 36% of Americans getting rid of at least one other subscription. Disney strategically partnered with Hulu and ESPN to be financially viable for customers.
Netflix CEO Reed Hastings isn’t worried. Rather, he’s focused on creating original content. TV shows like “Stranger Things,” “Love Is Blind” and “The Crown” create buzz no one can stop talking about.
