Family’s artwork featured in new exhibit at Sam Noble Museum

The Sam Noble Museum will feature a brand-new exhibit called “Fluent Generations: The Art of Anita, Tom & Yatika Fields” from Jan. 20 – May 6.

Members of the Fields family are accomplished native artists that celebrate the vitality of indigenous cultures through photography, ceramics and painting. This is the first time the whole family has shared their artwork under the same roof in an exhibit.

“Fluent Generations” will feature a number of never-before-seen pieces of artwork, loans from the Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art and the Arkansas Heritage Museum, along with pieces from the artists’ own collections.
