On June 29, the Tulsa Zoo’s jaguar, Ixchel, gave birth to her fourth cub. Now, almost two months later, the zoo finally announced her name: Babette! In honor of this little girl’s name day, here are three must sees at the zoo:
Penguins: The only penguin exhibit in Oklahoma, these African penguins love warm weather and have felt at home since they arrived in 2002.
Elephants: The size of these endangered Asian elephants is a sight to behold, and so is the indoor mammoth exhibit.
Sea Lions: No zoo trip is complete without visiting the king of the (underwater) jungle.
