Like other social platforms, Instagram consistently looks to stay relevant to everyday users and creators. Recently the team behind the popular app has been designing and testing a new in-app creation option for talent (i.e. creators), giving them the ability to design their own pitch to brands they hope to work with and then pitch them through the app.
Deemed “Creator Portfolio,” the biggest benefit is the option to share their profile directly with potential partners. Still an internal prototype, the new development is being tested by select creators – with the goal of moving forward if all goes well.
