Holidays have looked a little different this year, but my husband and I wanted to make sure our moms felt special on Mother’s Day. With everyone encouraged to continue to stay home, we had to get a little creative on what we could do.
First, I sent flowers to my mom from a locally owned flower shop in Aubrey, Texas, her hometown, then we “FaceTimed” and ate brunch together. For my mother-in-law, we used Netflix Party to watch a movie together.
It wasn’t much, but as we’ve heard before, it’s the thought that counts.
How did you celebrate your mom?
