You may be familiar with Castle Falls, but do you know the history of the land it sits on? It’s located within Council Grove, a historic piece of land known as the neutral meeting grounds for Native Americans prior to and after the Land Run.

Native Oklahoman and Executive Director of the Oklahoma Historical Society Bob L. Blackburn will present the land’s rich history in “The History of Council Grove,” on Thursday, Oct. 17 at 7 p.m. at the Grande Hall at Castle Falls.

Invite your friends and family to this educational presentation at Castle Falls Restaurant. It costs nothing to attend, but registration is requested.
