Remembering Pearl Harbor

by The 100 Companies

“December 7, 1941 – a date which will live in infamy …”

As Americans across the country remember the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941, effectively launching the United States into WWII, Oklahomans can remember the historic events while visiting a tangible memorial.

The USS Oklahoma is one of the ships that sank as a result of the attack. However, the anchor was retrieved and placed on display at Campbell Park in Oklahoma City. It stands in memory of the 429 sailors and Marines who were killed on board. Join us in remembering all who gave the ultimate sacrifice that infamous day.
