substance abuse resolution

Behavioral health impacts our state in ways we don’t directly see. The Oklahoma Behavioral Health Association launched “Care for Care” to help more than half a million Oklahomans unable to access mental health and substance abuse services they need.

When people with substance abuse disorders receive the treatment they deserve, like graduate from a treatment program instead of going to prison, the results benefit everyone. These benefits include a more than 95 percent drop in unemployment and a 125 percent jump in monthly income.

Treatment works, not prison. Support the solution and make your views known by contacting your legislator.
