Due to the Governor of Oklahoma and the Mayor of Oklahoma City declaring a state of emergency, all public events have been canceled through April 15, 2020.
Open Streets OKC returns Sunday, April 5, 2020, to Historic Uptown and will be held along Northwest 23rd from Robinson to Western Avenue.
This event encourages and promotes safe physical activity and wellness as it builds local community connections. Attendees are also given the opportunity to walk, ride, run and skate without having to dodge automobiles from noon to 4 p.m., when a portion of Northwest 23rd will be closed to motorized vehicles.
Open Streets is pet-friendly, alcohol-free and tobacco-free and is brought to you by the Wellness Now Coalition, Oklahoma’s Credit Union, and the Oklahoma City-County Health Department.
