Tulsa is getting an upgraded pedestrian bridge over Arkansas River. The committee reviewing design proposals has narrowed it down to four “potential concepts,” meaning the final design may closely resemble the submitted rendering.
After receiving 234 submissions, the selection committee determined the four finalists that complemented A Gathering Place for Tulsa Park and its natural surroundings; best accommodated pedestrians and cyclists; and wouldn’t cost more than the $24.5 million already budgeted.
Public comments on the renderings are encouraged through April 28. Then the city will review comments before announcing the winning design May 1. View the four design finalists.
