Changes happen all the time, but some places take up a significant spot in our hearts. Here are some of Tulsa’s lost treasures:
1. Bell’s Amusement Park: Families flocked to this landmark from 1951 to 2006, before the lease expired at Expo Square.
2. Camelot Hotel: Built in 1965, the four-star hotel once hosted Elvis Presley and former presidents. The building was demolished in 2007.
3. Old Tulsa Speedway: Stock car engine sounds could be heard for miles for 40 years following World War II. It was shut down in 1984 due to noise complaints from the surrounding neighborhoods.
