The story of Route 66 often goes untold, yet the experience of the Mother Road continues to draw travelers from virtually all across the world.
A project entitled The Route 66 Experience is currently underway to build a state-of-the-art interactive center complete with a drive-in theater, two restaurants, retail shop, exhibits, interactive audio-visual experiences and more.
The $23 million dollar project is planned to open in 2018 and is expected to engage the iconic road as a strong driver for tourism and as an economic power for the Tulsa community.
