Have you ever watched a Facebook video and seen an advertisement for something leading into a post that doesn’t match? For example, say you saw an advertisement for a kid’s toy and then see a post about a crime show podcast.
This has recently been addressed by Facebook as they have introduced a feature for advertisers to prevent their ads from being shown in video uploads related to chosen topics. They currently offer exclusions for news, politics, gaming and religious and spiritual content.
They are adding additional exclusions and the feature will be tested on a limited number of advertisers.
