While Instagram was the most downloaded app in the last quarter of 2022, there may be another app coming for the title – and its goal is to change how we use social media altogether.
BeReal asks users to share a photo once a day to show what they’re doing at that moment, giving an unfiltered look at their lives, in contrast to the heavily filtered world of apps like Instagram and TikTok.
Companies are not allowed profiles on BeReal, though some are trying to skirt the rule. Should brands be on it? Or do they go against the authenticity message?
