Imagine That.
That’s the new marketing campaign recently launched by the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department to draw more visitors and also encourage state residents to travel within the state.
The $1.2 million campaign includes TV ads that will air in Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri and Texas. Digital ads will cover a larger area.
More than 17 million visitors came to Oklahoma in 2021, generating $10.1 billion. Tourism was the state’s third-largest industry that year.
At a press conference, Lt. Gov. Matt Pinnell said, “This campaign showcases the best of Oklahoma and demonstrates the state’s potential to a global audience.”
