Rose State College celebrates 50th anniversary

by The 100 Companies

In 2020, Rose State College is celebrating 50 years. The organization first opened its doors back in 1970 as Oscar Rose Junior College, with only a handful of students, one building and a desire to provide higher education to the community.

Throughout the last 50 years, Rose State College has welcomed more than 270,000 students from 66 Oklahoma counties, 34 U.S. states and 25 countries to its expanded campus.

This year’s celebrations will kick off on Jan. 21 with the event “Letting Your Passion Take You Far In Your Career & Community,” followed by more exciting events and announcements throughout 2020.
