Amazon brings more to OKC than 1,500 new full-time jobs. The company has donated $30,000 to schools.

On opening day, Amazon’s first order of business was to present this generous donation to The Foundation For Oklahoma City Public Schools and the Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation. The donation will sponsor a new Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Center at Prairie Queen Elementary in South Oklahoma City. Both foundations plan to open 33 STEM classrooms in Oklahoma City public schools.

Amazon job applications are being accepted through Sept. 19.

Thank you, Amazon, for being a great community partner.
